Hebrew ויאמר אבשלום ולא ילך־נא אתנו אמנון אחי ויאמר לו המלך למה ילך עמך׃
Greek και ειπεν αβεσσαλωμ και ει μη πορευθητω δη μεθ' ημων αμνων ο αδελφος μου και ειπεν αυτω ο βασιλευς ινα τι πορευθη μετα
Latin Et ait Absalom : Si non vis venire, veniat, obsecro, nobiscum saltem Amnon frater meus. Dixitque ad eum rex : Non est necesse ut vadat tecum.
KJV Then said Absalom, If not, I pray thee, let my brother Amnon go with us. And the king said unto him, Why should he go with thee?
WEB Then Absalom said, "If not, please let my brother Amnon go with us." The king said to him, "Why should he go with you?"
