Hebrew וינס ארם מפני ישראל ויהרג דוד מארם שבע מאות רכב וארבעים אלף פרשים ואת שובך שר־צבאו הכה וימת שם׃
Greek και εφυγεν συρια απο προσωπου ισραηλ και ανειλεν δαυιδ εκ της συριας επτακοσια αρματα και τεσσαρακοντα χιλιαδας ιππεων και τον σωβακ τον αρχοντα της δυναμεως αυτου επαταξεν και απεθανεν
Latin Fugeruntque Syri a facie Israël, et occidit David de Syris septingentos currus, et quadraginta millia equitum : et Sobach principem militiæ percussit : qui statim mortuus est.
KJV And the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew the men of seven hundred chariots of the Syrians, and forty thousand horsemen, and smote Shobach the captain of their host, who died there.
