Hebrew ותהי לו תוכחת על חטאתו כי הבהמה האלמת דברה בקול אדם ותעצר באולת הקסם׃
Greek ελεγξιν δε εσχεν ιδιας παρανομιας υποζυγιον αφωνον εν ανθρωπου φωνη φθεγξαμενον εκωλυσεν την του προφητου παραφρονιαν
Latin correptionem vero habuit suæ vesaniæ : subjugale mutum animal, hominis voce loquens, prohibuit prophetæ insipientiam.
KJV But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
