Hebrew וירא מלך מואב כי־חזק ממנו המלחמה ויקח אותו שבע־מאות איש שלף חרב להבקיע אל־מלך אדום ולא יכלו׃
Greek και ειδεν ο βασιλευς μωαβ οτι εκραταιωσεν υπερ αυτον ο πολεμος και ελαβεν μεθ' εαυτου επτακοσιους ανδρας εσπασμενους ρομφαιαν διακοψαι προς βασιλεα εδωμ και ουκ
Latin Quod cum vidisset rex Moab, prævaluisse scilicet hostes, tulit secum septingentos viros educentes gladium, ut irrumperent ad regem Edom : et non potuerunt.
KJV And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not.
