Hebrew ויהי כי־חטאו בני־ישראל ליהוה אלהיהם המעלה אתם מארץ מצרים מתחת יד פרעה מלך־מצרים וייראו אלהים אחרים׃
Greek και εγενετο οτι ημαρτον οι υιοι ισραηλ τω κυριω θεω αυτων τω αναγαγοντι αυτους εκ γης αιγυπτου υποκατωθεν χειρος φαραω βασιλεως αιγυπτου και εφοβηθησαν θεους
Latin Factum est enim, cum peccassent filii Israël Domino Deo suo, qui eduxerat eos de terra Ægypti, de manu Pharaonis regis Ægypti, coluerunt deos alienos.
KJV For so it was, that the children of Israel had sinned against the LORD their God, which had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharoah king of Egypt, and had feared other gods,
