Hebrew וינגע יהוה את־המלך ויהי מצרע עד־יום מתו וישב בבית החפשית ויותם בן־המלך על־הבית שפט את־עם הארץ׃
Greek και ηψατο κυριος του βασιλεως και ην λελεπρωμενος εως ημερας θανατου αυτου και εβασιλευσεν εν οικω αφφουσωθ και ιωαθαμ υιος του βασιλεως επι τω οικω κρινων τον λαον της
Latin Percussit autem Dominus regem, et fuit leprosus usque in diem mortis suæ, et habitabat in domo libera seorsum : Joatham vero filius regis gubernabat palatium, et judicabit populum terræ.
KJV And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.
