Hebrew ויאמר שאול לנערו והנה נלך ומה־נביא לאיש כי הלחם אזל מכלינו ותשורה אין־להביא לאיש האלהים מה אתנו׃
Greek και ειπεν σαουλ τω παιδαριω αυτου τω μετ' αυτου και ιδου πορευσομεθα και τι οισομεν τω ανθρωπω του θεου οτι οι αρτοι εκλελοιπασιν εκ των αγγειων ημων και πλειον ουκ εστιν μεθ' ημων εισενεγκειν τω ανθρωπω του θεου το υπαρχον
Latin Dixitque Saul ad puerum suum : Ecce ibimus : quid feremus ad virum Dei ? panis defecit in sitarciis nostris : et sportulam non habemus, ut demus homini Dei, nec quidquam aliud.
KJV Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God: what have we?
