Hebrew ויאמר דוד אל־האנשים העמדים עמו לאמר מה־יעשה לאיש אשר יכה את־הפלשתי הלז והסיר חרפה מעל ישראל כי מי הפלשתי הערל הזה כי חרף מערכות אלהים חיים׃

Latin Et ait David ad viros, qui stabant secum, dicens : Quid dabitur viro, qui percusserit Philisthæum hunc, et tulerit opprobrium de Israël ? quis enim est hic Philisthæus incircumcisus, qui exprobravit acies Dei viventis ?
KJV And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?
