Hebrew ויאמר את ידעת כי־לי היתה המלוכה ועלי שמו כל־ישראל פניהם למלך ותסב המלוכה ותהי לאחי כי מיהוה היתה לו׃
Greek και ειπεν αυτη συ οιδας οτι εμοι ην η βασιλεια και επ' εμε εθετο πας ισραηλ το προσωπον αυτου εις βασιλεα και εστραφη η βασιλεια και εγενηθη τω αδελφω μου οτι παρα κυριου εγενετο
Latin Tu, inquit, nosti, quia meum erat regnum, et me præposuerat omnis Israël sibi in regem : sed translatum est regnum, et factum est fratris mei : a Domino enim constitutum est ei.
KJV And he said, Thou knowest that the kingdom was mine, and that all Israel set their faces on me, that I should reign: howbeit the kingdom is turned about, and is become my brother's: for it was his from the LORD.
