Hebrew ויגש הנביא אל־מלך ישראל ויאמר לו לך התחזק ודע וראה את אשר־תעשה כי לתשובת השנה מלך ארם עלה עליך׃ ס
Greek και προσηλθεν ο προφητης προς βασιλεα ισραηλ και ειπεν κραταιου και γνωθι και ιδε τι ποιησεις οτι επιστρεφοντος του ενιαυτου υιος αδερ βασιλευς συριας αναβαινει επι
Latin Accedens autem propheta ad regem Israël, dixit ei : Vade, et confortare, et scito, et vide quid facias : sequenti enim anno rex Syriæ ascendet contra te.
KJV And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thy self, and mark, and see what thou doest: for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.
