Hebrew ויועץ המלך רחבעם את־הזקנים אשר־היו עמדים את־פני שלמה אביו בהיתו חי לאמר איך אתם נועצים להשיב את־העם־הזה דבר׃
Greek και παρηγγειλεν ο βασιλευς τοις πρεσβυτεροις οι ησαν παρεστωτες ενωπιον σαλωμων του πατρος αυτου ετι ζωντος αυτου λεγων πως υμεις βουλευεσθε και αποκριθω τω λαω τουτω
Latin iniit consilium rex Roboam cum senioribus, qui assistebant coram Salomone patre ejus, cum adhuc viveret, et ait : Quod datis mihi consilium, ut respondeam populo huic ?
KJV And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people?
