Commentary

Throughout the gospel of John Jesus is recorded numerous times saying "I am...". In John 14:6 we are reminded that Jesus said that he is the only way to the God the Father. Jesus was talking to his disciples when he said this.

John 14:6 is a verse that supports exclusivism, the the teaching that only Jesus can bring about a person's forgiveness and salvation and that other religions cannot provide this.
