God is the creator
Genesis tells us that, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth". Later, in the New Testament, the apostle John wrote that, "All things were made by him (Jesus Christ)".
God is love
God loves all people. His love can be seen throughout creation, but no greater understanding can we have of God's love than this - that he send his Son Jesus Christ into the world, to die on the cross so that we might live. God calls us to love like he does.
God is holy
God is holy, which means that set apart from all evil and that he is pure and full of complete love.
God is forgiving
To forgive is to let go of any resentment for being wronged. God is a loving and merciful God who forgives. In the Book of Isaiah God tells say, "Come now, let us reason together. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
