Life FM (107.9 MHz) was the first (and remains the only widely listened to) Christian radio in Adelaide South Australia. It was set up in 1993 after 20 years on the blackboard. It was originally called Alta-Mira FM. It's mission is
- To participate with God in communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with excellence, through the creative use of radio in order to see lives transformed.
It plays a selection of mainstream rock and pop music as well as popular and contemporary Christian music from singers and song-writers including DC Talk, Rebecca St James, The Newsboys and Hillsong
