Zacchaeus was a chief tax-gatherer (publicanus) at [[Jericho]] ([[Luke 19]]:1-10). The tax collector climbed up a sycomore tree so that he might be able to see him. When Christ reached the spot he looked up into the branches, addressed Zacchaeus by name, and told him to come down. Jesus told the man, who was a hated tax collector, that he intended to visit his house. The crowd was shocked that Christ would be the guest of a tax collector.

The Holy Spirit (or Holy Ghost) is the third person of the [[Trinity]], co-equal with [[God the Father]] and [[Jesus Christ]]. He is the one who convicts of sin and guides into the truth.

The doctrine of the Holy Spirit being God as part of the [[Trinity]] is one of the great mysteries of Christianity, and it is also a core teachings of orthodox [[Christianity]], setting Christianity apart from other [[monotheism|monotheistic]] religions such as [[Islam]], as well various off-shoots of Christianity such as [[Jehovah's Witnesses]] and [[Christadelphianism]].

The Spirit is not an impersonal “it” or simply an influence. He is a person. He is sometimes forgotten in the discussion of the God the Father and God the Son, and yet plays a role within the Trinity and salvation that is fundamental to the Christian life. The Holy Spirit is a person who can be grieved ([[Ephesians 4:30]]) and teach ([[John 14:26]]) among many other things.

Christ is the English representation of the Greek word Χριστός ([[Christos]]). It means "The Anointed One" and is the title given to [[Jesus]]. The equivalent [[Hebrew]] word is "Messiah".

The word is often misunderstood to be the surname of Jesus due to the numerous mentions of Jesus Christ in the [[Bible]]. The word is in fact a title, hence its common reciprocal use Christ Jesus, meaning The Anointed One, Jesus. Followers of Jesus became known as Christians because they believed that Jesus was the Christ, or Messiah, prophesied in the [[Old Testament]].

The area of Christian theology focusing on the identity, life, teachings and works of Jesus, is known as [[Christology]].

In the [[Old Testament]], priests, kings and prophets were anointed with oil. This would be performed to indicate appointment by God to a particular task. In the later Old Testament and during the inter-Testamental period, a common expectation developed of an anointed king, simply called the Messiah or Christ, who would establish God's kingdom. The Gospels clearly show that the people were expecting this Messiah, or Christ. For example, in [[John 1]] the people asked [[John the Baptist]], "Are you the Christ?"

The Gospels reveal that Jesus was the Christ. In [[Luke 23:2]] Jesus claimed to be the Messiah. Furthermore, the Gospels, especially the [[Gospel of Matthew]], linked Jesus with the [[Son of David]], David being the great king about 1,000 years earlier.

The Gospels also show however that Jesus understood the Messiah in very different terms from the common people. Jesus actively discouraged political and revolutionary ideas of an earthly kingdom. He never denied that he was Messiah, but he certainly discouraged people's idea of Messiah, discouraging expectation of political deliverance. Before his execution he said to his judge, Pontius Pilate, "My kingdom is not of this world" ([[John 18:35]]). During his ministry Jesus had shown this. He had made a strong link between Christ and [[Son of God]] (see for example [[Mark 1:1]], [[Matthew 16:16]] and [[Luke 4:41]]) and had made known to his disciples that his purpose was to suffer, die and rise to new life (see for example [[Luke 24:46]]). It was through this death and resurrection that Jesus taught that the Messiah would bring eternal life (see for example [[John 12:34]] and [[John 20:31]]).

Ahaz was a king of the Judah ([[2 Kings 16]], [[2 Chronicles 28]]). He did give exclusive worship to God, but was involved in [[idolatry]]. He died at the age of 35, after reigning 16 years ([[732 BC]]-[[716 BC]] according to [[E.R. Thiele]]), and was succeeded by his son [[Hezekiah]]. He is one the kings mentioned in the genealogy of [[Jesus]] in the [[Gospel of Matthew]].

Kings records that Ahaz lived a life full of evil practices, introducing many pagan and idolatrous customs ([[Isaiah 8:19]]; [[Kings 23:12]]).

In 733 BC, Israel (and Aram) tried to pressure Ahaz into joining a coalition against Assyria (the armies of which were sweeping across the Middle East under [[King Tiglath-Pileser III]]). Ahaz, ignoring the warnings of the prophets [[Isaiah]], [[Hosea]], and [[Micah]], appealed to [[Tiglath-Pileser III]] for help – a decision that was condemned by Isaiah. Assyria assisted Judah and conquered the northern Kingdom exiling the people. This also brought Ahaz humiliating subjection to the Assyrians ([[2 Kings 16]]:7,9; [[2 Kings 15:29|15:29]]).

He died at the age of 35, after reigning 16 years, and was succeeded by his son Hezekiah. Because of his sins he was "not brought into the sepulchre of the kings."

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that next time you revert vandalism, make sure you don't just blank the page; if you do that, then all the work previously made on that page will be erased, and someone has to go back and revert again to the last non-vandalised version. If only one vandal edit has been made to the page, just use the "undo" button found in the page's history. If two or more vandal edits have been made to the same page, then:

#Click "History" at the top of the article,
#Click the date of the last non-vandalised version,
#Click "edit the page" when the page opens,
#Type in an edit summary such as "reverted vandalism" and then click save.

Again, sorry for the delayed response :) I think the problem with the Template Category showing up on articles is because, since the whole template is transcluded, the categories are moved onto the articles as well. The way to fix it would be to go to the ''template'' page and put the following code around the category link:

Whatever is between the two "no include" tags will not be transcluded to the articles the template is used on. I tried it with [[WikiChristian:Video of the day]] and it worked; the main page is no longer in the video of the day category :)

Now, I know on your Wikipedia user page it says you do not want to be an admin, but I think you could really help out here with the extra tools (working on the protected templates, deleting all the spam articles you're always coming across, etc.). Would you like me to make you a sysop?

: Hi Kathleen. I think the problem has been solved by putting the "noinclude" section into the return to template. I just edited [[A Mighty Stronghold is our God (song)]] - before I editted it, it was in the Categories:Template page, but after saving it, it no longer was. I think each page with "returnto" in it just needs to be resaved for it to disappear from the Categories:Template page. Hope this helps. Hi Kathleen, don't bother using rollback on the latest vandalism ("love from ebaums"), because it will just revert to more vandalism. The vandal, whoever he is, is obviously using a script to vandalize an article with one account, then vandalize it again with another account, thus causing rollback to only revert to the first vandal edit.
