Hebrew ואומר למלך אם־על־המלך טוב אגרות יתנו־לי על־פחוות עבר הנהר אשר יעבירוני עד אשר־אבוא אל־יהודה׃
Greek και ειπα τω βασιλει ει επι τον βασιλεα αγαθον δοτω μοι επιστολας προς τους επαρχους περαν του ποταμου ωστε παραγαγειν με εως ελθω επι
Latin Et dixi regi : Si regi videtur bonum, epistolas det mihi ad duces regionis trans flumen, ut traducant me, donec veniam in Judæam :
