The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude, "There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!"

Hebrew ויכעס ראש הכנסת על אשר רפא ישוע בשבת ויען ויאמר אל העם ששת ימים הם אשר תעשה בהם מלאכה לכן באלה באו והרפאו ולא ביום השבת׃
Greek αποκριθεις δε ο αρχισυναγωγος αγανακτων οτι τω σαββατω εθεραπευσεν ο ιησους ελεγεν τω οχλω οτι εξ ημεραι εισιν εν αις δει εργαζεσθαι εν αυταις ουν ερχομενοι θεραπευεσθε και μη τη ημερα του σαββατου
Latin Respondens autem archisynagogus, indignans quia sabbato curasset Jesus, dicebat turbæ : Sex dies sunt in quibus oportet operari : in his ergo venite, et curamini, et non in die sabbati.
KJV And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
