Hebrew ומה לא־תשא פשעי ותעביר את־עוני כי־עתה לעפר אשכב ושחרתני ואינני׃ ף
Greek και δια τι ουκ εποιησω της ανομιας μου ληθην και καθαρισμον της αμαρτιας μου νυνι δε εις γην απελευσομαι ορθριζων δε ουκετι
Latin Cur non tollis peccatum meum, et quare non aufers iniquitatem meam ? Ecce nunc in pulvere dormiam ; et si mane me quæsieris, non subsistam.
KJV And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.
