Hebrew ויחרישו ולא־ענו אתו דבר כי־מצות המלך היא לאמר לא תענהו׃
Greek και εσιωπησαν και ουδεις απεκριθη αυτω λογον δια το προσταξαι τον βασιλεα μηδενα
Latin Et siluerunt, et non responderunt ei verbum. Mandaverat enim rex, dicens : Ne respondeatis ei.
KJV But they held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not.
