Hebrew ותען אסתר המלכה ותאמר אם־מצאתי חן בעיניך המלך ואם־על־המלך טוב תנתן־לי נפשי בשאלתי ועמי בבקשתי׃
Greek και αποκριθεισα ειπεν ει ευρον χαριν ενωπιον του βασιλεως δοθητω η ψυχη μου τω αιτηματι μου και ο λαος μου τω αξιωματι
Latin Ad quem illa respondit : Si inveni gratiam in oculis tuis o rex, et si tibi placet, dona mihi animam meam pro qua rogo, et populum meum pro quo obsecro.
