Hebrew יאיר בן־מנשה לקח את־כל־חבל ארגב עד־גבול הגשורי והמעכתי ויקרא אתם על־שמו את־הבשן חות יאיר עד היום הזה׃
Greek και ιαιρ υιος μανασση ελαβεν πασαν την περιχωρον αργοβ εως των οριων γαργασι και ομαχαθι επωνομασεν αυτας επι τω ονοματι αυτου την βασαν αυωθ ιαιρ εως της ημερας
Latin Jair filius Manasse possedit omnem regionem Argob usque ad terminos Gessuri et Machati. Vocavitque ex nomine suo Basan, Havoth Jair, id est, Villas Jair, usque in præsentem diem.
KJV Jair the son of Manasseh took all the country of Argob unto the coasts of Geshuri and Maachathi; and called them after his own name, Bashan-havoth-jair, unto this day.
