Hebrew ויפגעו במקום אשר הים משני עבריו ותדבק בו האניה ותעמד ראשה לא ינוע ואחוריה נשברו משאון הגלים׃
Greek περιπεσοντες δε εις τοπον διθαλασσον επεκειλαν την ναυν και η μεν πρωρα ερεισασα εμεινεν ασαλευτος η δε πρυμνα ελυετο υπο της βιας [[Greek:{VAR2:|{VAR2:]] κυματων
Latin Et cum incidissemus in locum dithalassum, impegerunt navem : et prora quidem fixa manebat immobilis, puppis vero solvebatur a vi maris.
KJV And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
