Hebrew ויאמר דוד אל־יואב ואל־כל־העם אשר־אתו קרעו בגדיכם וחגרו שקים וספדו לפני אבנר והמלך דוד הלך אחרי המטה׃
Greek και ειπεν δαυιδ προς ιωαβ και προς παντα τον λαον τον μετ' αυτου διαρρηξατε τα ιματια υμων και περιζωσασθε σακκους και κοπτεσθε εμπροσθεν αβεννηρ και ο βασιλευς δαυιδ επορευετο οπισω της
Latin Dixit autem David ad Joab, et ad omnem populum, qui erat cum eo : Scindite vestimenta vestra, et accingimini saccis, et plangite ante exequias Abner : porro rex David sequebatur feretrum.
KJV And David said to Joab, and to all the people that were with him, Rend your clothes, and gird you with sackcloth, and mourn before Abner. And king David himself followed the bier.
