Hebrew ודוד יושב בין־שני השערים וילך הצפה אל־גג השער אל־החומה וישא את־עיניו וירא והנה־איש רץ לבדו׃
Greek και δαυιδ εκαθητο ανα μεσον των δυο πυλων και επορευθη ο σκοπος εις το δωμα της πυλης προς το τειχος και επηρεν τους οφθαλμους αυτου και ειδεν και ιδου ανηρ τρεχων μονος ενωπιον
Latin David autem sedebat inter duas portas : speculator vero, qui erat in fastigio portæ super murum, elevans oculos, vidit hominem currentem solum.
