Now after this he built an outer wall to the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance at the fish gate; and he encircled Ophel [with it], and raised it up to a very great height: and he put valiant captains in all the fortified cities of Judah.

Hebrew	ואחרי־כן בנה חומה חיצונה לעיר־דויד מערבה לגיחון בנחל ולבוא בשער הדגים וסבב לעפל ויגביהה מאד וישם שרי־חיל בכל־הערים הבצרות ביהודה׃
Greek	και μετα ταυτα ωκοδομησεν τειχος εξω της πολεως δαυιδ απο λιβος κατα γιων εν τω χειμαρρω και εκπορευομενων την πυλην την κυκλοθεν και εις το οφλα και υψωσεν σφοδρα και κατεστησεν αρχοντας της δυναμεως εν πασαις ταις πολεσιν ταις τειχηρεσιν εν
Latin	Post hæc ædificavit murum extra civitatem David ad occidentem Gihon in convalle, ab introitu portæ piscium per circuitum usque ad Ophel, et exaltavit illum vehementer : constituitque principes exercitus in cunctis civitatibus Juda munitis :
KJV	Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.
