Hebrew ויועץ המלך רחבעם את־הזקנים אשר־היו עמדים לפני שלמה אביו בהיתו חי לאמר איך אתם נועצים להשיב לעם־הזה דבר׃
Greek και συνηγαγεν ο βασιλευς ροβοαμ τους πρεσβυτερους τους εστηκοτας εναντιον σαλωμων του πατρος αυτου εν τω ζην αυτον λεγων πως υμεις βουλευεσθε του αποκριθηναι τω λαω τουτω
Latin iniit consilium cum senibus, qui steterant coram patre ejus Salomone dum adhuc viveret, dicens : Quid datis consilii ut respondeam populo ?
