Hebrew ויהי כשמע חירם את־דברי שלמה וישמח מאד ויאמר ברוך יהוה היום אשר נתן לדוד בן חכם על־העם הרב הזה׃
Greek και εγενηθη καθως ηκουσεν χιραμ των λογων σαλωμων εχαρη σφοδρα και ειπεν ευλογητος ο θεος σημερον ος εδωκεν τω δαυιδ υιον φρονιμον επι τον λαον τον πολυν
Latin Cum ergo audisset Hiram verba Salomonis, lætatus est valde, et ait : Benedictus Dominus Deus hodie, qui dedit David filium sapientissimum super populum hunc plurimum.
KJV And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed be the LORD this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people.
