Hebrew וישבע המלך שלמה ביהוה לאמר כה יעשה־לי אלהים וכה יוסיף כי בנפשו דבר אדניהו את־הדבר הזה׃
Greek και ωμοσεν ο βασιλευς σαλωμων κατα του κυριου λεγων ταδε ποιησαι μοι ο θεος και ταδε προσθειη οτι κατα της ψυχης αυτου ελαλησεν αδωνιας τον λογον
Latin Juravit itaque rex Salomon per Dominum, dicens : Hæc faciat mihi Deus, et hæc addat, quia contra animam suam locutus est Adonias verbum hoc.
KJV Then king Solomon sware by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own life.
